About Us

Vail RFC is located in Vail, Colorado. Our pitch is nestled between Gore Range and Vail Mountain at about 8,150 feet above sea level. We play a summer 15's season that begins in May and ends with Aspen Ruggerfest in September. We attract players from Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and many college players who want to improve their rugby skills by playing 15's during the summer at high altitude. Our coaches have played rugby throughout the world and this year we have a coach who has played international rugby. We belong to Rocky Mountain Rugby and play in the Summer Mountain League, which includes games against the following teams: Grand Junction, Breckenridge, Glenwood Springs, Aspen, Steamboat along with 15's tournaments.
